Medaka Box ch53′s translation is out but I don’t have access to [Cross]‘s raw provider so I can’t do anything about it, Shikkoku no Renya ch2 is still waiting for a translation and I have no idea when it will be posted and Bamboo Blade B has a new translator so it should be moving forward soon. We still can’t find good raws for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion vol 5 onwards, but I may have some other Geass-related release for you some time soon.

Ah fun, I figure many people were waiting a good amount of time for this.
I can’t really say I have a good excuse, but I’ll try to give one. Basically over these
past couple of months, I’ve been thinking about what we’re doing here, and with the
recent advent of the collaboration between manga publishers in America/Japan,
it has been brought to light to me again. Along with an up and coming service that
goes by the name of Open Manga, I’ve been deluded into deep reflection, mainly because
it feels like our time is almost over. As such, I fell into the awful habit of procrastination.
Because of this, I’ve been really unresponsive to my group members,
which I sincerely apologize for, and also to the fans, which I also apologize for.
Of course, I had a moment of epiphany after looking through some of our archives in my
time of reflection, and came upon the reason I started this group in the first place, which
was because another group delay/stalled releases or just didn’t release all together without
informing the fans of anything, so I’ve become everything that I’ve disliked, so you can bet
that I won’t let that happen if I have anything to do with it.
In short, now that my searching journey is over, things will be different from now on,
I’m going back to the basics and going to be more competent.
Oh right, one other thing, if any of our fans are going to New Jersey’s upcoming anime convention AnimeNEXT,
feel free to say hi or something. My nametag will say [Cross], though I can’t really say I’ll be lurking any specific area. Oh yeah, I’ll be posting cosplay pics that I deem amusing :3

I find it interesting to note that Yasuda-sensei seems to be a C.C. fan, seeing as C.C. is more endowed than Kallen.
Not complaining though. So who is Suzuhito Yasuda and what does he have to do with this release? He’s the author of Yozakura Quartet! Artist behind the character models of Durarara! and also the artist for the character models of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. But I digress, here’s another huge load of Yozakura Quartet for everyone to enjoy, so please do, it goes well into Volume 6 so we actually managed to catch up and surpass the local releases.

Oh yeah, on a lighter note, I’ve received a few hate mail concerning Yozakura Quartet. Well, not so much hate mail as it is simply mail where people are amusingly begging me to post some kind of update (2 people at least, but it still warrants some kind of explanation). The status update is that all of the chapters up to 27 are completely typeset aka pretty much complete, with the exception of Chapter 09. That along with Chapter 03, which needs some translation fix-ups, are preventing the uber release that you are all looking for, so please be a bit more patient, I guarantee you that it will definitely be worth it.

Alrighty, so this has been a long time coming, too long actually, so I’ll keep it short and sweet. Seeing as nobody has been paying attention to scanlating the Yozakura Quartet manga series, we’re taking the reigns and bringing you Yozakura Quartet! Yes, I’m well aware that del rey released a good amount of the manga, but not all of it, they are one or two volumes behind what is available in Japanese, and their next release will be during the Spring of 2010. Since I know people don’t want to wait that long, we’re going to catch up and surpass the del rey releases so you guys can enjoy this underappreciated series (we’ll be releasing at a very quick rate, so no need to worry). All good things start at the beginning, so here are chapters 1 and 2.
