Medaka Box 25/Seitokai Dropped
- …I don’t get it…
So yeah, if you haven’t guessed it by now, we’re dropping Seitokai no Ichizon. But for the record, it isn’t because a certain unnamed group picked it up, I’m not that much of a chicken, but our translator for the series had midterms coming up and as such couldn’t manage, well that’s life I suppose. Whatever the case, I wish him luck.
Now onto more pressing issues, we’re currently recruiting for the Winter anime season, and we’re in a real need for a translator if nothing else. Some of the anime that we’re looking to work on are Omamori Himari, Baka to Test to Shōkanjū, Hidden Wolf, Dance in the Vampire Bund, and Katanagatari. (In the end, we’ll only pick one of these >.>)
And finally the last thing we must get to, which is the actual release!

Okay, with this I’ll stop. Seems I can’t get enough of Student Councils these days, what with Seitokai and now with Medaka Box. Anyways, you’re going to get a patch for the 720p and 480p with script changes since I never heard the end of it (Pettanko lol) and the OP so it won’t lag since that also seems to be a problem. Yes, and the latest Medaka Box chapter as well, though with this I’ll make sure to have it done earlier than this week’s release, which is a bit late again. Expect the avi release tomorrow.
Patch instructions:
- Unzip in same folder/directory as the Episode and OP/ED
- Double click patch.bat
- Then feel free to delete the v1′s and the files in the zip
This does technically make a v2 of everything but that is because our encoder had to add a extra stream which had to be added to each the Episode and the ED just have two of the same thing, but for the future if we make corrections it’ll be just for the episode.
Just to clarify switch to the second subtitles stream if your OP lags/you hate animated softsubbed kara

And since I believe it would be foolish to argue against the Executive Editor of ANN, we’ll just have to believe him. That being said, I will now refer to you guys as seals (I hope you don’t mind).
Now, welcome fellow seals, this is our first official fansub release. I found this series really amusing, but of course what kind of seal wouldn’t enjoy fish? A really deprived seal. But enough of seals. Thanks to doremi, with whom we’re doing this series with in a joint, so expect the same kind of release next week. Now, enjoy your fish you seals.
Note: This release has ordered chapters, in order words, you have a choice to view the episode with the OP and/or ED. If you want to watch with the OP/ED then download all three links, it will play with the OP/ED if all three files are in the same directory/folder. If you don’t want the OP/ED then you can just download the episode file. If you download through the torrent, the three files are already in there. The point of this? Well for future releases you will just need to download the episode file without the separate OP/ED files as you should already have them, thus saving much more space in the long run and having videos that are much smaller in size. If agree/disagree with this idea, then voice your opinion in the poll.
